MORE ABOUT ME...

What I am already doing to live sustainably: I ride my bike - I last drove to work in February (pause for dramatic effect) in 2002. we buy wind power. Our home thermostat range is 55-62F. We compost all our kitchen and yard waste. We put out our trash bin about once every two months (and the blue recycling bin once a month). I have an electric lawn mower (so it runs on wind power)

Something new I am going to do to reduce my carbon footprint: Turn my computers off every night.

If I could save one wild place it would be: Antarctica - because lots of things have to be fixed in many other places to save it.

My scholastic interests: biology, history, transportation engineering

Some of my other interests: gardening, hiking, reading
