flattail Reusing plastic grocery bags 4 Nov 4 2008, 7:03 PM EST by BobBentBike

Is it really that bad that we get plastic bags if we reuse them? We use them all the time, particularly as garbage bags. If we accumulate to many we take them to a recycling dropoff. If we stopped getting plastic grocery bags, what would we use in place of them for our garbage cans?

Su_Anderson What to do with garbage? 1 Oct 27 2008, 10:29 AM EDT by lhancock

For years we have used plastic bags from the grocery store as garbage bags in our home. Now that we use cloth bags, we are stumped on what to use for our garbage cans. I called the Logan Environmental Department and they stated that they do want you to use garbage bags to keep the bins and the streets clean. So what should we do? Any suggestions?

Su_Anderson Funny....I posted this presentation too 0 Oct 16 2008, 5:14 PM EDT by Su_Anderson

I posted this presentation on my profile yesterday because it was so compelling when I first saw it. To help you remember your reusable bags, picture the dolphin or the bird before going to the store. I always keep my reusable bags in my car, so after I put the groceries away, they go back out to the car.
